The Eagles of Death Metal derive their name from their sound- if The Eagles played metal. The band basically sounds like a more “danceable” version of the Queens of the Stone Age-which is great. The single, “Gamma Ray’ features Beck’s original version frmo the album Modern Guilt fused with Reatard’s take. Ben Folds plans US tour to support new album

Ben Folds has just released his third solo album and has laid down plans to tour US in support of this new album from September 6th onwards. Ben Folds will be kick starting his US leg of the tour with a performance along with Chamber Orchestra in Philadelphia on the 6th of September and will be touring the length and breadth of the country with concerts reported to be held at cities like New York, Dallas, Kansas, Chicago, Detroit, Washington, Boston, Texas etc. His US tour will end with a performance at the Wiltern in Los Angeles on the 14th of November. Tickets to these shows are currently on sale.
Everclear hits the road again with “The Vegas years”
The eminent rock group Everclear is clear about the ways to promote its latest release “the Vegas Years”. The band has been performing at festivals and fairs for the past few weeks and now has taken a short break from the trek. Everclear is planning to come back to the roads on August 16th from Des Moines, IA. The trek will end at Palmerton in Philadelphia on October 18th.
