rock band The Rock Band “Yes” has announced that it will head a tour of North America for the first time in five years to celebrate the 40th anniversary of the group. The British origin band goes on the tour with its four members: Steve Howe, the guitarist; vocalist Jon Anderson; drummer Allan White and the bassist Chris Squire who have been the part and parcel of this band group all these years and will be joined by Oliver Wakeman who will be taking the honors of playing the keyboard in place of his father Rick Wakeman.
The summer tour of the Yes band will kick off on July 12th with a performance in Quebec City and will cover a total of 25 cities across North America. The summer tour is christened as “Close to the Edge and Back” tour and the tickets for the summer tour will be made available to the fans by March 29th. All the members of the band are very much excited of performing after a long gap.
The very popular Australian rock band AC/DC who had not released an album for the past eight years are getting geared up to hit the studios once again to record their new album form march 1st. The group’s bassist, Cliff Williams, who is on a tour to Los Angeles to take part in the Rock & Roll Fantasy Camp revealed that the long wait for the fans of AC/DC will be over quickly as the band has decided to team up once again to record their new music “God, I’m Ready”.
Williams said that there have not been any concrete decisions taken on tour plans as yet, and one will never know when any tour plan will get materialized. But, Williams is very optimistic and says that he expects to be on a tour with the AC/DC band pretty soon. The AC/DC band performed on stage for the last time in early 2001 and Cliff Williams was very much touched in seeing the small kids of 10 to 12 years old enjoying the music sitting on their Dad’s shoulders. Williams wants to see a repeat of the same now and was overjoyed to see the fans enjoying the bassist performing the AC/DC bands classic numbers at the Rock Camp.
Nicole Richie has given birth to a baby girl just recently. The baby girl was named Harlow Winter Madden. Nicole and her fiance Joel Madden (frontman from band Good Charlotte ) are very happy about this. Nicole said that she’ s going to be the best mother in the world, and she wants to make her little daughter one of the happiest people in the world
