Miley Cyrus, teenage phenomenon and TV show extraordinaire, or more fondly known as Hannah Montana, has expressed dislike and embarrassment over some Vanity Fair shots published in said magazine. She had earlier taken part in a photo shoot whereby her pictures were professionally taken by celebrity photographer Annie Leibovitz. The amicable photographer, whose photographs of a gravidly pregnant Demi Moore on the cover of Vanity Fair made her doubly famous. She was also renowned for being the last person to have captured John Lennon on film before he was shot and slain hours later.
Miley Cyrus apologized profusely to fans for the offensive photographs, especially one of her posing rather provocatively, with lips smudged and only a sheet covering her chest while her back was exposed for all to see. Certain parties have come forward to accuse the photographer and head honchos behind Vanity Fair of manipulating Cyrus, who was only fifteen. To date, Cyrus has enjoyed widespread fame from her Hannah Montana TV show and sold out “Best of Both Worlds” concert tour.
