Brisk ticket sales to the Miguel’s performance on October 2nd

 Luis Miguel, the international performer from Mexico, who has won many laurels including the Grammy award, will perform at the Broomfield Event Center on October 2nd at 8 pm as part of his Complices Tour. The ticket sale for the concert has started on July 19th and tickets will be available in different price ranges starting from $40. Miguel through this tour is backing his latest album Complices, which was released this May. Miguel is a favorite of music fans as his albums touch the hearts of people and his live performances are very lively and enigmatic. Lovers of Latin American Music will definitely crowd the Broomfield event center on October 2nd.

Country musicians Montgomery & Gentry maps out summer tour

The country music duo comprising of Gentry and Montgomery have come out with a hectic summer tour plan this season to support their forthcoming album “Back When I Knew It All”. The country music duo is slated to perform at the Las Vegas Annual ACM Motorcycle charity ride on the 17th of May and will kick start their frantic summer tour with Toby Keith in Pelham, AL on June 19. The duo Montgomery Gentry will be performing at 35 concerts across America in the months of June, July, August and September and the tickets to these shows are currently on sale. There are reports that the Country music duo’s new album will hit the record stores on June 10th.

Alicia Keys restarts her concert tour

The R & B sensational singer Alicia Keys who had cancelled couple of her shows has returned to the concert stage. She performed in front of a capacity crowd at the Value City Arena in Columbus last Saturday night. The two previous concerts on the 22nd of April at Pittsburgh and on the 24th of April at Wolstein Center in Cleveland were cancelled by Alicia due to severe swollen throat problems, according to reports on her website.

 

Alicia Keys fans are pretty much excited to see her performing live again and will be in large numbers to witness their diva perform in front of them. There have been lots of new venues like California, Memphis, Sacramento and Anaheim added to her latest tour program. She will be supporting her very popular third studio album called “As I Am’ through the long concert tour and she won two Grammy Awards this year for the album. 

Fergie’s performance at Tempe Music festival

The petite pop star who was given the name “The Dutchess” by her fans did a rocking concert at the Tempe Beach Park on 29th March as part of the Music Festival in Tempe. She performed in front of a large crowd mainly consisting of pre-teen girls. According to reports, she gave performances from “The Dutchess”, her solo debut album medley of the group called Black Eyed Peas, as well as some regular gigs which lasted for about 90 minutes.

Before the performance she had a meeting with a boy who was brought by the Make- A -Wish Foundation. She arrived on the stage through a big staircase wearing white slacks and vests. Her first performance was “Here I Come” followed by the hot number “London Bridge”. Her co–dancers for this song were dressed as guards of Buckingham Palace. She also performed the hit songs of Black eyed Peas “My Humps”, “Hey Mama”, “Where is the Love” etc.

Michael Bolton to start his spring, summer tour

Michael Bolton, the blue-eyed singer is gearing up for the North American tour. He will start his tour in spring and is expected to finish it in summer. According to reports, the concert tour will start with a two-night performance in Mexico on May 3-4. After that Bolton will perform at the St. Lucia jazz Festival in the Caribbean Island on May 9th. He will return to U.S by mid May for a number of performances extending from the Midwest to the East Coast.

During the tour he will support his 2006 album “A Swingin’ Christmas” which was re- released in October with two new tracks. The Grammy Award winner is seen performing Yuletide Hits like “Silent Night”, “let It Snow” and “Walking in a Winter Wonder Land” in this album. He will also support another 2006 release “Bolton Swings Sinatra” which includes the classics by Frank Sinatra. His last performance of this concert tour will be at Mableton on July 19th.

Top musicians to perform in World Peace Concert

The World Peace One forum, a non profitable organization with the sole objective of bringing peace to this world, has signed many top musicians from all over the world to perform for the peace campaign international concerts that are starting from May 17th of 2008. The World Peace One founder, Doug Ivanovich, has said that the group is in discussions with performers like U2, Justin Timberlake, Aerosmith, Madonna, Lionel Richie, Led Zeppelin, INXS, Celine Dion, Timbaland and ZZ Top.

The World Peace One group is also trying to rope in a few international artists like Gilberto Gil, Linox, Ivan Lins from Brazil; Trollmates and Jane Zhang from China; Turkish musician Tarkan; LadySmith Black Mambazo, Saer and Tamara Day from Africa. Ivanovich says that discussions are one thing and the artists taking part in this novel concept is another thing. He said that the group wants to end all the wars by the end of their 10 year period and they intend to promote and develop the largest people’s movement the world has ever seen. The series of concerts that kick starts in Beijing on May 17th will travel to places like London, Johannesburg, Miami, Istanbul, Portugal, Brazil, India, Puerto Rico, United Arab Emirates and possibly a lot more countries.

2008 Summer Tour of Tom Petty

The major summer tour of Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers has been announced. The band will tour across U.S and Canada and millions of fans are expected to watch this band perform at different places. The coming summer tour will confirm the position of the band as one of the best in the music world. Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers have already created history by performing in the biggest live event the “half time show of the super bowl XLII”. The performance of the band in this event has given a preview of their program, which is going to hit U.S and Canada.

The summer tour will have special supporting act to enhance the entertainment.
