Chris Brown’s attorney Mark Geragos talked with reporters outside of the Los Angeles courthouse on the morning of April 29. He mentioned that he wanted his clients case dismissed entirely since there has been a high level of leaks in the investigation process. One of those leaks he was talking about was the picture of Browns girlfriend singer, Rihanna that showed her face badly bruised and suffering from numerous scratches. The judge has set a new hearing for May 28. Rihanna asked the judge for the police to return the 1.4 million dollars worth of jewelry she was wearing that night. Rihanna is scheduled to go back on tour this summer.

Demi Demo!

Demi Lovato has become one of the most popular pop singers in the business right now. You probably know her from the movie “Camp Rock” where she played opposite the Jonas Brothers as a teen who wants to become a star musician. She, of course, since it’s a teen movie, falls in love with one of them along the way. She had a great time in the movie though, and she’s become popular for her new Disney show, Sonny with a Chance. She gets to sing and act and all kinds of fun things in the show. She released her first album last year, but has appeared on several other albums with other musicians. Her own album debuted at #2 on the Billboard charts. Her current concert tour probably brings her to an area near you. Demi Lovato tickets will give you the opportunity to hear her beautiful voice and fun banter!

Coachella

At the Coachella Music and Arts Festival this weekend, there were some amazing performers as headliners on the main stage. Two of the main ones were Paul McCartney and Leonard Cohen. They played good sets, according to the reviews. But one of the reviewers brought up an interesting question: did the sets go over the heads of the audience? It’s not so hard for younger people to know and recognize their music. But it wasn’t one of those shows that seemed necessarily designed for the audience that was there. They don’t all know who Cohen is, and his music is so thoughtful and subtle that people don’t necessarily enjoy it, especially at an outdoor show. McCartney also seemed to be designed for those who have followed his career all the way, making the target audience older than most people there. Good music, to be sure, and those kids there got to hear some of the best in the world!

Hyde Park

The Hyde Park Festival in London will feature a bunch of great performers this year, including the Killers, Bruce Springsteen and several others. It’s going to be a fun festival and you are really going to enjoy it if you get the chance to go there. The Killers have become one of the best bands out there and people are starting to really take notice. You ought to make sure to catch their show, either in London or here in the US, depending on where you are. Of course, going to London for it would be a lot of fun, but it’s not a major component of the performance. Don’t miss the Killers this year!
