Long before David Cook was crowned the victor at the 7th American Idol, it was amusing to note that Simon Cowell remarked that he one of the most arrogant participants he has ever met. Several weeks down the road, he changed his mind and told the crowd that David Cook was deemed a worthy contestant for his sincerity. A grinning Cook mentioned that he has not changed in the least as he saw that it was a great opportunity to show the world who he really is as well as to gain musical experience.
Cook and the other 10 finalists who did not make it will be making an appearance on the upcoming American Idols Live tour beginning July 1 2008.
