It is amazing what parenthood can do to a man or a woman and a living example to the same is the front man of the rocking group Good Charlotte, who has become one of the most conservative parents in the planet as he wants the lyricists and song writers to put a little thought on what they are telling to their young fans through their lyrics. Joel Madden, who recently became a father in January when his girl friend and paparazzi personality Nicole Richie gave birth to Harlow, their beautiful daughter, admits that fatherhood has certainly made him rethink about his lyrics and tells his fellow lyricists to follow suit.

Joel Madden revealed that fatherhood has really made him think in a different perspective about his life and his music. He said that the Good Charlotte has just started writing for a new record and there will definitely be a change in the style of writing for this record. Joel Madden said that he is now tempted to think about his fans as they are also some people’s kids and he will definitely care about what they think and this will influence him in writing lyrics with utmost care from now on.

Madonna to perform in intimate venues

Posted on March 19th, 2008 by admin in Madonna

Madonna, the multimillionaire singer and performer, who likes to do different things, is planning to do intimate performances this year. Though she has gained popularity through her extravagant concerts in big stadiums, she always dreamt of performing to the smaller groups. She said that she wanted to give performances in Opera Houses, but is afraid that she won’t be able to make big money out of it. The 49 year old star is attracted to the fact that doing performances at smaller venues will give a chance to get closer to the audiences and meet them personally.

She feels that her shows are really elaborate and it will be difficult to adjust it to the varying stage size. She thinks that it is impossible to do grand shows in intimate venues and is planning slimmed–down shows for the smaller venues. She loves the magic created by theater as the audiences are closer to the artist and their each and every reaction is easily received by the performer. She admits that intimate venues have their own advantages as well as disadvantages. Giving a live performance very close to the audience is difficult and challenging and the performer can change the performance according to the trend the audience needs.
