Bon Jovi has always made it a point to see their fans from all over the world through their world tours. They announced on January 24 this year that they are asking their fans to make a video as a tribute to their town, showcasing its uniqueness. They can then submit their video to the Bon Jovi Loves My Town! contest.
Bon Jovi’s world theme revolves around their song ‘I Love This Town’ from the successful 2007 album Lost Highway. Videos that will win this contest will be given a chance to show to the world their towns’ people, places, tourist attractions, and other things that set their towns apart from others. The videos will be voted on by judges and also by fans.
The winning video will be made into a multi-million dollar video presentation of the band’s ‘I Love This Town’ song. The contest’s grand prize winner also gets the chance to watch the concert from the stage. There will also be 10 second-placers who will each receive a copy of an autographed Lost Highway CD.
