Dan Fogelberg, the leader of the band, and an Easy-rocking singer-songwriter, known for such ’70s and ’80s hits as “Leader of the Band” and “Same Old Lang Syne”, died Sunday at his home in Maine. Dan was diagnosed with an advanced form of prostate cancer in 2004, and the following 3 years were the years of constant battle with the disease. Even though the singer underwent hormonal therapy and achieved a partial remission, the disease was not cured completely, which eventually led to the rocker’s death at the age of 56. Our heartiest condolences to the relatives of the famous singer, and to all his fans, for the world lost a real talent on Sunday.
